Note that XRd does not support any MVPN profiles. XRv9K only supports profiles which use P-PIM. You can configure profiles with mLDP and SR-P2MP, but they will not work in the data plane. The following labs were originally created with XRv9K nodes. However, these are very resource intensive, so I used XRd for this workbook. Profiles 28 and 29 cannot be fully validated with XRd, so keep this in mind while you work through these exercises. You may wish to use XRv9K for these exercises, but know that the dataplane will still not work.
To begin, run the following command on your containerlab machine:
Once all nodes are started, run the following command to transfer the config files to all nodes. These files will be used to change between startup configs for subsequent labs.
The script will prompt you for a directory name. Enter "topology1".
Use the MTPutty session file located in topology1/topology1_putty_sessions.xml to quickly setup your SSH sessions to the nodes. Go to Server - Import Tree and browse for the file.
When you are done with the lab, use the following command to wipe it:
